John Bell – Manager
I’ve been the Manager here at the Youth Project since its beginning, having worked in Wales, Liverpool and Scotland. As a teenager I was very involved in the Scouts, youth clubs and youth exchanges, and this gave me the desire to train as a Youth Worker. After 25 years doing it as my full-time job, there’s still lots of new ideas to develop and every day is different. My passions are activities such as canoeing and camping, and I’m very involved with our local football team. Later this summer I’ll be leading a group of young people to sunny Morocco, having previously led groups to Iceland, India, Borneo, Nepal and many others – it’s a big world out there and I love creating opportunities for other people to explore it too!
